How to Set Up MetaMask for RaffleKing
Connecting an EVM wallet like MetaMask is the easiest way to use RaffleKing. If you’re new to the space, here’s how to get set up.
RaffleKing is built for fair and fast wins, and connecting an EVM wallet is the smoothest way to play. Prizes land directly in your wallet, simplifying the withdrawal process. (Don't worry: If you're not ready for that, sign up with your email and Reown will create a wallet for you automatically).
If you've never set one up before, here's how to get started.
What is MetaMask?
MetaMask is one of the most popular and secure Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) crypto wallets. It lets you store, send, and receive cryptocurrency, and connect to Web3 platforms like RaffleKing. Unlike an exchange (like Binance or Coinbase), MetaMask is self-custodial, meaning you're in full control of your funds. No company holds them on your behalf.
It works as a browser extension on desktop, and as a standalone app on mobile. Below, we’ll run you through how to create a MetaMask wallet on desktop, then how to use it to sign up to RaffleKing.
Step 1 - Download MetaMask
Head to metamask.io and download the browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, or Brave. Click Add to Browser and follow the prompts to install it.
Once installed, the MetaMask fox icon will appear in your browser toolbar.

Step 2 - Create your wallet
Open MetaMask and select Create a new wallet. You'll be asked to set a password – this is used to unlock MetaMask on your device, so make sure it’s strong.
Next, MetaMask will show you your Secret Recovery Phrase. This is a string of 12 random words that acts as the master key to your wallet. Write it down on paper and store it somewhere safe. If you lose it, you cannot recover it, so a screenshot won’t do.

Anyone who has your recovery phrase can access your wallet and everything in it. MetaMask will never ask for it, and neither will RaffleKing. If anyone does, it's a scam. Once that’s safe, your wallet is created.
Step 3 - Fund your wallet (optional)
You don’t need funds in your wallet to sign up to RaffleKing, but you will need some crypto in your MetaMask wallet (or any other connected EVM wallet) if you want to buy tickets and enter raffles.
The easiest way to get crypto is directly on MetaMask, under Buy. You can also buy crypto on a centralised exchange like Binance, then send it to your MetaMask wallet.
Your wallet address is the string of characters starting with 0x, found at the top of the MetaMask interface. Copy it carefully and use it as the destination when sending from your exchange.

Signup – Connect MetaMask to RaffleKing
Now you’re ready to create your account. Head to raffleking.io and click Connect Wallet in the top right corner. Select MetaMask from the options. A MetaMask popup will appear asking you to confirm the connection. This is just proving you own the wallet.

Click Confirm and you're in. Your wallet address will appear in the top right corner of RaffleKing, confirming you're connected. Any prizes you win will land directly there.
Want to Buy Tickets? Deposit to your Account Balance
Once your MetaMask wallet is connected, head to Deposit in the top right corner. Choose your preferred crypto, select the correct network, and RaffleKing will generate a deposit address.
Copy that address and send funds to it from your MetaMask wallet. Once the transaction confirms on-chain, your balance will update automatically and you'll be ready to raffle tickets.
Enter, Win and Crypto Prizes Land Directly in Your MetaMask Account
Once you’ve deposited and got your tickets, all that’s left is to get in the game and take your shot. If you win an EVM prize (ETH, USDT, USDC), the prize will land directly in your connected MetaMask wallet automatically via smart contract. For BTC and SOL wins, you’ll need to head over to Settings to paste in the relevant wallet addresses.
A few MetaMask safety tips to keep in mind:
- Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone.
- Always download MetaMask from metamask.io, not from a third-party site.
- Double-check wallet addresses before sending. Blockchain transactions are final and can't be reversed.
- If a popup appears asking you to approve a transaction you didn't initiate, reject it immediately.
